This streamer is designed for all small and medium-sized freshwater predators that can be fished with a fly rod.

This small fish imitation fears no obstacle thanks to its Texan hook mounting. Just like a soft lure, the hook hidden in the fibers is released when you strike.

Best used with an intermediate line, this streamer can come to life quickly but is most effective when pausing between long casts. The absence of weights gives it a very gliding action, often effective on predators.

Directions for use

The Texas hook is an excellent solution for fishing in crowded conditions, but just as when fishing with a soft lure on the same type of hook, a few adjustments need to be made. In a very crowded environment, prick the hook point through the fibers so that it passes through the back. In a moderately crowded environment, shift the streamer fibers to one side of the hook to facilitate striking.

Customization

By adding lead wire wraps on the hook shank you will not only have a streamer with a faster sink rate for use with a floating line, but also a swim with more pronounced "jerks".
