Our tips for securing your hook:
Before attaching your bike storage hook, remember to leave enough space between your ceiling and your hook (about half a wheel) to hang or unhook your bike easily.
Adapt the fixings (plugs and screws) to the type of wall you're using, and don't hesitate to ask a professional for advice.
Mounting :
You can install your hook on the wall or ceiling in 2 ways:
- Perpendicular to the wall (with the 2 mounting holes vertical), to store your bike with the tires pressed against the wall
- Vertical (with the 2 mounting holes horizontal), to hang your bike parallel to the wall
Fasteners :
We advise you to check the type of support (solid wall, plasterboard, bricks...) before buying the screws and plugs to fix your hook.
For example: on a solid wall, we recommend 40 mm plugs and PZ 2 screws 5 mm x 60 mm minimum.
