WHY NO ZIPPER?
The zipper is often the weakest link in overshoes, both in terms of waterproofing and product durability.
The zipper is often the most fragile point and the one that will break first, as there is a lot of tension at the heel.
HOW TO PUT THEM ON?
Without a zipper, you need to know the technique!
STEP 1: I slip on the shoe cover and pull it up my calf
STEP 2: I put on my shoe
STEP 3: I reposition the shoe cover over my shoe
WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE?
This product is primarily designed for road shoes, and is therefore rather slim. If your shoes are wider than average, don't hesitate to take the next size up.
WATER ENTRY BY CAPILLARY ACTION
If your long shorts are not water-repellent, it's highly likely that they'll soak up water in the rain. Even the best overshoes in the world won't be able to do anything....your tights will be in contact with your socks, and the water will spread by capillary action.
That's why at VAN RYSEL we only offer winter bib shorts with a water-repellent membrane, like the RACER bib shorts.
