ANTI-UV
Anti-UV material, but what is it used for?
To protect your eyes from an invisible danger... UV.
UV radiation is always present, in winter or summer, on sunny or even overcast days, and it can be harmful to your eyes and their contours.
To protect your vision, the lenses of our sunglasses are made of polycarbonate mixed with "anti-UV" material that protects you from the sun's harmful rays (UVA and UVB).
POLARIZER
Top of the range for outdoor activities!
Polarized lenses intensify colors and enhance contrasts and relief.
They provide excellent protection and comfort, as light only falls on 1 axis, and also protect against glare by cutting off rays reflected on horizontal surfaces (water, snow...).
The only drawback is that it's difficult to read screens (telephone...) as the polarizing treatment cuts screen brightness.
EBLOUISSEMENT
Classification of tinted lenses in accordance with ISO 12312-1:
- Category 1: lightly tinted lenses for low solar luminosity.
- Category 2: moderately tinted lenses for medium solar luminosity.
- Category 3: dark lenses for high solar luminosity (sea and mountains). Between 82% and 92% of visible light absorbed
- Category 4: very dark glass, for exceptional solar luminosity (high mountains). Between 92% and 97% of visible light absorbed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our lenses are made of polycarbonate, a material that is highly resistant to impact, but whose major drawback is that it is sensitive to scratches.
Even if your lenses are scratched, the UV protection does not diminish - the mirror effect is purely aesthetic.
The same applies to the color of our sunglasses.
Whether gray, brown or colored... you can choose your sunglasses according to your preferences, and you'll be protected whatever the color.
FRAMES MADE FROM BIO-SOURCED POLYMERS
For the frame of these sunglasses, we use Rilsan Clear G850 Rnew, a polymer derived from castor oil.
This biosourced material is a real asset in our developments, enabling us to obtain a lightweight, flexible frame.

Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we work every day to make it more responsible: eco-design, repairability and durability are at the heart of our developments.
