WATERPROOF OVERTROUSERS
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure expressed in mm water column (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric.
Here are the waterproof values:
Component resistant to a water pressure of 5,000mm before and after ageing (5 washes). This is equivalent to 5,000 Schmerber - the average pressure exerted by water during a rain shower.
The waterproofness of the pants was tested under a rainfall of 60 liters of water/m²/hour for 2 hours.
CARE FOR YOUR OVERTROUSERS
- Rinse with clean water after use
- Store dry
- To preserve the water-repellent treatment, wash as little as possible
- Wash inside out and closed. Synthetic program at 30°or 40°C with standard detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Limit the load on your machine. Double-rinse.
- Air-dry on a drying rack.
- To reactivate water repellency, tumble-dry on the synthetic program for a short time (10 to 15 min.), inside out.
MEASURE OF IMPERMEABILITY EXPRESSED IN MM OR SCHMERBER
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure expressed in mm water column (test based on JIS standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproof rating of 5000 mm will therefore withstand the pressure exerted by 5000 mm of water.
BREATHABILITY OF OVERTROUSERS
- 12 < RET < 20 = tissu respirant
- RET > 20 = tissu peu ou pas respirant
