COMFORT ABOVE ALL ELSE
Seamless assembly limits the use of seams all over the body to avoid irritation from rubbing.
The cut is as loose as a classic long-sleeve t-shirt, so it doesn't stick to the skin when you're hot, and provides greater ease of movement and excellent comfort whatever your maneuvers on the boat.
NATURAL SUN PROTECTION
Sun protection is achieved without chemical additives, and thanks to the following 3 points:
- the yarns used (their composition and some of their technical characteristics)
- the knitting stitches (the way the yarns are stretched AND bound together)
- the darker colors of the yarns used (the darker the better the final result), but the white color is UPF 50+.
Each product passes the UPF 50+ standard when wet (more restrictive) or dry.
RESISTANCE TESTING
We carried out several laboratory tests: rubbing and snagging. The product resists well and is far less sensitive than many weaves we've tested, with the same yarn. The weave is therefore tight and fine, making this product much less sensitive than other products.
For best durability, avoid rubbing against the scratch: this will eventually damage the product.
QUICK DRYING
Some of the threads used to weave the t-shirt are made of polypropylene. This material is hydrophobic and does not retain water.
We measured the drying time of the t-shirt in the laboratory after 10 washes: the t-shirt met took less than 6 hours to dry in the open air, which can be much shorter in the air.
HOW TO CHOOSE AN ANTI-UV T-SHIRT?
We advise you to choose a light-colored t-shirt: it attracts less heat than a dark color.
Choose a classic or loose fit so that it doesn't stick to your skin and you can wear your t-shirt easily before or after your practice.
UV PROTECTION EVEN WHEN WET
We've carried out laboratory tests proving the T-shirt's effectiveness against UV rays, whether wet or dry.
WHAT DOES UPF 50 + MEAN?
UPF stands for Ultra Violet Protection Factor. It is a standardized, worldwide index.
UPF 50 + means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays.
