How does the MT500 merino t-shirt reduce odours?
The components used help limit perspiration odors.
Laboratory-tested to ISO 17299-3.
Main fabric: 89% Merino wool
Mesh inserts, fishnet fabric, under arms and middle back: 66% Merino wool, 24% Polyamide, 10% Elastane.
How does the merino wool in the MT500 T-shirt help perspiration evaporate?
After exertion and heavy perspiration, merino wool easily traps warm insulating air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of water from the wool absorbs energy, which in turn cools your body slightly.
What is the cut of the MT500 merino wool t-shirt?
This t-shirt has a slightly fitted, sporty cut to facilitate moisture transfer to the outside of the fabric. Choose your usual size, or one size larger if you prefer to wear your shirts loose-fitting.
Where does the merino wool used in the MT500 merino wool t-shirt come from?
We use wool from Merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing.
We have decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino)
This gives us traceability, enabling us to guarantee the origin of the wool.
Any advice before using the MT500 trekking t-shirt?
For the softness of the component, don't hesitate to wash your t-shirt before first use.
How do I wash my MT500 merino wool trekking shirt?
We recommend that you machine-wash your t-shirt containing merino wool at 30°C, normal cycle, with merino liquid detergent sold under code 8817234. Dry flat, NEVER tumble dry, unless you want to lose one or two sizes! An article on how to care for merino wool garments can be found on the Forclaz website.
