TECHNICAL INFORMATION

How do we reinforce the resistance of our T-shirt?

We use a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which polyamide filaments form a fine sheath around the merino wool fibers, protecting them from chafing and cutting without impairing their benefits.

Limiting the freezing effect

Because of its structure, wool can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture, without feeling damp.
In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of water from wool absorbs energy, cooling your body slightly.

For even softer components, wash your T-shirt before using it for the first time.

How do I wash my merino wool T-shirt?

We recommend that you machine-wash your merino wool tee-shirt at 30°, normal cycle, preferably with a liquid detergent.

Dry flat. NEVER tumble dry unless you want a merino doll tee-shirt!

TESTS

The Trek 500 T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, external to Decathlon, were accompanied by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer, and myself, product manager.
Over 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with good days' walking and nights in gites or bivouacs.
This test enabled us to validate the product in use.
