What are the benefits of merino wool after exercise?

After exertion and heavy perspiration, merino wool easily traps warm insulating air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, which is appreciated in cool weather.
In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of water from the wool absorbs energy, which in turn cools your body slightly.

How do I wash my merino wool T-shirt?

We recommend that you machine-wash your Merino wool T-shirt at 30°, normal cycle. Preferably use a liquid detergent designed for wool garments.
Dry flat, never tumble dry.

TESTS

The Trek 900 T-shirt was tested by 9 users in the Massif des Bauges in October 2019. These testers, external to Decathlon, were accompanied by our design teams: Maïté, our product engineer, Mélanie, our designer, and myself, product manager.
Over 5 days, we tested this T-shirt together in cold, snowy conditions, with good days' walking and nights in gites or bivouacs.
This test enabled us to validate the product in use.
