Find out more about the mats and pockets on your BT 500
Your mat is gray to blend in with your interior, non-changeable and with a slow surface. The starting line and the location of the 8-ball are marked on the mat in accordance with official standards, to make it easier to prepare for your game.
The pockets are "mesh" and can hold up to 5 American billiard balls (44 mm diameter). They have an 8 cm opening and a 7 cm depth.
Your table's plus points
This billiard table is practical, mobile and blends in perfectly with your interior, whatever your decor!
Your billiard table can be folded, unfolded and stored in a matter of minutes. Gone is the idea that a billiard table takes up space!
You'll find "flies" (white circles) on the frame, making it easier to hit the cushion.
Dimensions and weight of your pack
Your BT 500 folding billiard table will arrive unassembled in a protective cardboard pack measuring 145 cm high, 80 cm long, 15 cm thick and 165 cm diagonal. The total weight of the pack is 39 kg.
Zoom on your table legs
Your BT 500 billiard table is equipped with castors to enable you to move it easily from one room to another. Don't worry: when in play position, your table won't budge: the castors have brakes!
Finally, the front legs of your table are fitted with jack feet that allow you to adjust the height to ensure perfect flatness during your games.
How to fold and unfold your BT 500 folding table
To unfold your BT 500 table, all you need is 3 minutes:
- Unscrew and remove the knobs on either side of the table.
- Pull the top of the table towards you to bring it into a horizontal position.
- At the same time, pull out the second leg of the table.
- Screw in the knobs (2 on each side) to keep the legs stable.
To fold your table, simply do the reverse. And it's easy to make sure you don't get the wrong side: the angled leg remains fixed and the right leg is retractable.
How much space do you need to play?
To play billiards well, you need to be comfortable in your movements, and therefore have sufficient space.
Allow an extra 5 cm on top of your billiard cue (122 cm) around the table for your filing (balancing of the cue before the shot).
In short, to be able to move around your BT500 US folding billiard table comfortably, you need a space of over 15m2.
Are you new to billiards? Our team offers advice on how to get started
Contrary to popular belief, billiards is a sport! And a precision sport at that.
To feel comfortable and succeed in repeating a precise gesture, take the time to find a stable position.
Finally, rather than relying on luck, rely on strategy and precision.
In other words? Visualize and prepare your shots, instead of just shooting into the pile to see what happens :)
Balls or marbles? Holes or pockets? We explain a little of the billiards vocabulary.
You may often hear the words "balls" or "holes" used when talking about billiards, but these are not the exact terms used in this sport!
That's right! If you want to play billiards, you're going to have to put balls (not cue balls) into pockets (not holes).
And how? By shooting the cue ball with a cue stick. In this case, we're talking about a cue rather than a stick.
Who do we work with?
We work in collaboration with the French Billiards Federation. Our billiard tables are used and put to the test by clubs, but also in schools and colleges to develop the practice of school billiards.
