Programs
Aimed at advanced to expert users, this foil has the particularity of being usable for the majority of foil practices: SUPFoil, SurfFoil, WindFoil, Wingfoil, KiteFoil...
It benefits from winglets (vertical fins at the wingtips) reducing drag and improving lift. This makes it both stable and maneuverable. This versatility makes it easy for the user to learn, progress and perfect almost limitless skills.
Which size to choose?
Choosing the right foil size depends on your weight, your level and your desired cruising speed:
A large surface carries more (faster take-off) but will reach its maximum speed more quickly.
A small surface takes off less quickly but will be easier to handle and will reach higher speeds.
The heavier you are (rider+board), the larger the foil you need.
For example, a 1600cm² foil is suitable for a person weighing 80kg and with an advanced SUPfoil level.

Preparation and interview
From the very first use, grease the screws with the grease supplied (repeat the operation every 5 to 6 outings).
Before each use, inspect the condition of each screw and ensure that they are correctly tightened.
After each use, disassemble the foil completely to avoid the risk of galvanic corrosion which could freeze the screws and prevent disassembly.
Foiling remains a dangerous sport. Many precautions must be taken.
The use of a neoprene wetsuit, helmet, booties and impact vest is strongly recommended. The use of a leash is imperative.
Foiling remains a dangerous sport, and many precautions must be taken when learning to foil. We strongly recommend that you learn foiling in a specialized training center.
Read the instructions carefully (keep them) and comply with all applicable regulations.
Foiling requires a good level of surfing, SUP or traditional kiteboarding.
Autonomy in choosing a spot, analyzing weather conditions, knowledge of associated risks, ability to read the wave or anticipate maneuvers are all required for safe, responsible surfing.
Respecting the rules of priority and good behavior is a prerequisite.
Start foiling safely
To help you discover foiling, decathlon's Olaian brand has designed a safe foil that allows you to discover this new sport in complete safety. We strongly recommend that you start out with this foil, especially for use in waves.
