How do I choose the right size and thickness for my carpet?
To keep you motivated, it's essential to choose a comfortable fitness mat. To do this, pay attention to its thickness. For gentle, barefoot activities, opt for a mat of at least 10 mm with a soft texture. For dynamic muscle-strengthening exercises, 7 mm is sufficient. Length is also important. For example, for Pilates or strengthening exercises, choose a mat equal to or larger than your own size.
Which side of the carpet should I stand on?
When you're doing toning exercises such as sheathing, it's important that your mat is resistant to wear and tear caused by your shoes. To achieve this, place the gray surface against the floor and position yourself on the colored part equipped with anti-abrasion film. This way, you can train in shoes without risking damage to your mat.
