Is a floor mat really necessary for yoga?

To practice yoga, a mat must meet certain criteria of grip and thickness. This is necessary for comfortable practice and, above all, to avoid the risk of injury during dynamic sequences and balances.
Why a yoga mat that sticks?

Why is Mat Grip + 4mm the ideal thickness?
In yoga, the thickness of a mat counts for a lot. It needs to be thick and comfortable enough to protect your joints and back during posture sequences, and enable you to hold your balance. But for good stability and to feel your connection to the floor, it mustn't be too thick either. The recommended thickness for yoga mats is between 1.5 and 8 mm. At 4 mm , our yoga mat is right in the middle.
What types of yoga can be practised with the Mat Grip + 4mm mat?
With its 4 mm thickness, this yoga mat is ideal for dynamic yoga. Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Bikram are practices with sequences of postures performed rapidly and with high intensity. For dynamic yoga, we recommend using a mat up to 5 mm to guarantee good grip and stability, essential for maintaining balance.

"Over time, dust, creams, sweat and other residues damage the adhesive layer of polyurethane carpets. That's why it's vital to clean them regularly.
To do this, clean your carpet with warm, soapy water and a microfiber cloth. If the dirt is well embedded, you can leave it to soak for a few minutes. Then let it dry naturally before rolling it up again. Avoid exposure to sunlight."
