Ease of use
This Shelter can be assembled by a single person following these steps (see assembly instructions in the cover or video below)
1 - Stretch the canvas on the ground by spreading the 4 ballast bags
2 - Fill the bags with sand
3 - Assemble the masts and pass them under the canvas (foam ball upwards), in the 2 places (black squares) provided for this purpose.
Sun protection
UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA rays.
Behavior in the sun.
Although this shelter provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reverberation (on water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc. must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt you from the need to follow the appropriate precautions: wear sunglasses, a hat or cap, a UV top (refer to the OLAIAN range of anti-UV clothing products), apply a suitable sun cream regularly, drink regularly, etc.
Wind resistance.
This shelter has been wind-tunnel tested. If the wind exceeds 20km/h, we recommend that you do not use it, as the poles could fall.
If it's a bit windy, place this shelter facing into the wind. It will inflate the canvas and you'll enjoy plenty of shade, in restful silence. As the fabric is made of polyester elastane, it makes no noise.
Modularity
This shelter can be used with 4 stakes instead of 2. Additional stakes (sold by 2) can be purchased separately (Ref 8809674).
