TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Stay

11.7 m² living room with a tent height of 2.10 m.
This tent is equipped with:
- A removable ground sheet at the entrance to the tent in case of rain
- Two large transparent windows with shutters
- Two doors with mosquito nets with shutters
- Storage pockets in the bedrooms and living room
- Clotheslines above the windows
You can set up only two bedrooms to benefit from a huge living room.

Lying width

Each room in this tent is designed to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm-wide mattresses.
The partition between the 2 rooms is NOT removable.

Assembly and disassembly

You have five hoops to pass through their respective sheaths. You'll find color codes to help you.
We recommend a 2-person assembly team.

Floor area with guy wires: 44m2

Sun protection

The double-roof fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.
Caution: be careful, as a lot of UV rays can pass through a simple open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated fly over the living room provides ventilation and limits condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also located at the front and rear of the tent, as well as high mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same amount of wind.
With proper assembly and the guy lines deployed, this tent remains habitable in a force 6 wind, measured at 50 km/h.

Waterproofing and taped seams

We test our tents to ensure they are waterproof. The first test is carried out in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour per m², the equivalent of a tropical rainfall of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out in the field under real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a 2000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester rain fly. It also features heat-sealed seams and a 140 g/m² polyethylene ground sheet.

Repair

As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at your local Decathlon workshop or at Decathlon.fr.

Arches and posts

Hoops - All our hoops are made of fiberglass and undergo double quality control. This guarantees one of the highest levels of resistance to breakage.
Stakes - All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.

Maintenance tips

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks a year) on camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks may damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed for permanent outdoor use. To ensure the longest possible life for your tent, it is important to store it when not in use.
