Assembly / disassembly
Easy structure: hoops are attached to the flysheet, simply unfold and fasten.
Reverse operation for dismantling.
Ventilation
1 high rear vent, a space between the flysheet and the ground around the entire perimeter of the tent: to allow air to circulate between the room and the flysheet, to renew the air and minimize the natural phenomenon of condensation.
Sun protection
Ti0²-coated fabric has a UPF rating of 50 +. Caution: a significant amount of UV can pass through a simple open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory-validated (whole tent under 200 L/m²/h for 4 hours), as well as field-tested.
(2000mm PU-coated polyester rain fly, 120 g/m² polyethylene ground sheet, all seams taped with heat-sealed strips). The presence of a breathable polyester chamber under the flysheet prevents contact with drops of condensation that may settle on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly erected tent, with all shrouds properly deployed around the tent, should remain habitable in a wind speed measured at 40 km/h close to the ground (Force 5).
Warranty/Service
As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we care about the durability of our products, which is why all our tents are designed to be repairable.
Spare parts and pole repairs are available from your local Decathlon workshop.
If you have any problems, have your tent checked at your nearest Decathlon store.
