The IWIKO solar beach shelter can be stored in its parasol cover (supplied). Dimensions of cover (empty): 70x24 cm.
Dimensions of cover (shelter inside): 60 x 15 x 15 cm.
This beach tent provides shelter for up to 3 adults.
Sun protection and new interior finish
UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA rays.
We have changed the interior finish, called "ENDUCTION", which is transparent, for optimum protection, present on all colors.
This new coating also allows us to use less energy during the production phase.
Behavior in the sun
Although this beach umbrella provides protection from the sun's direct rays, other factors such as reverberation off the water (sand), heat or time of day must be taken into account.
The use of this umbrella does not exempt you from following the appropriate behaviour: wearing sunglasses, a hat or cap, a UV top (see our anti-UV clothing), regular application of a suitable sun cream, drinking regularly, etc....
Opens and closes in a single gesture.
Instant opening and closing system. The enclosure opens by pulling on the ring at the rear, and closes in a single movement by pushing the closing button.
Wind resistance
The IWIKO beach shelter has two ways of securing it to the ground:
1) Stakes for securing the prasol in the sand or earth.
2) Sandbags for holding it in place without the need for stakes. The shelter is also supplied with guy wires to stiffen the structure.
If the wind speed exceeds 30km/h, we recommend that you do not use this shelter, as it could blow away.
