Polycotton care
As part of the tent is made of cotton, the canvas must be absolutely dry before storing to avoid mildew. It's also important to keep the canvas clean and to remove stains as quickly as possible. It's best to wipe off dust with a soft brush.
Why choose Polycotton or Technical Cotton?
Polycotton, also known as Technical Cotton, gives you:
- better UV resistance
- better breathability than a traditional polyester tent
- a longer lifespan
- a lighter tent than a 100% cotton tent
- a more pleasant living environment in terms of noise, for example
You'll need to be very careful, however, as polycotton is a fabric that requires particular attention to drying and stain removal.

Assembly and disassembly
All-in-one inflatable structure with pre-assembled chambers and canopy.
Thanks to our Quechua Ultim Comfort pump with built-in pressure gauge, we recommend inflating the tubes to 7 PSI pressure.
To see this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into the search engine on our website.
PUMP NOT INCLUDED
For simplicity, we recommend 2-person assembly, but 1-person assembly is also possible.
Floor area with shrouds: 29m2
Sun protection
Our Polycotton technology is based on a fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection.
Be careful, a lot of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Ventilation
The ventilated fly over the living room provides ventilation and limits condensation in your tent. On the outside of the two rear bedrooms is a high ventilation flap. On the inside, there's a low ventilation flap. The last chamber is optimally positioned for air circulation. The bedrooms are fitted with mosquito nets on the top of the doors and on the bottoms. The living room has two mosquito nets, one on the top of the door and the other on the wall.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same amount of wind.
With proper assembly (minimum 7 PSI inflation) and the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains inhabitable in a force 8 wind, measured at 70 km/h.
Don't hesitate to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (min 7 PSI).
Waterproofing
We test our tents to ensure they are waterproof. The first test is carried out in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour per m², the equivalent of a tropical rainfall of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out in the field under real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a polycotton rain fly. It has a 195 g/m² waterproof ground sheet (ground sheet: 5000 schmerbers).

Repair
As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable poles are available at your local Decathlon workshop or at Decathlon.fr.
Arches and posts
Our inflatable poles for polycotton tents have a 3-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) inner tube, a polyester cover and a polycotton cover.
Stay reinforcement - An aluminum bar is present in the stay to stiffen the structure.
Stakes - All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
4 hard ground stakes are included.
Lying width
Each room in this tent can accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm-wide mattresses.
The partition between the 2 rooms is removable.
Maintenance tips
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks a year) on camping trips or in the great outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks may damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed for permanent outdoor use. To ensure the longest possible life for your tent, it should be stored in a dry place when not in use.
