2 aluminium stakes (each consisting of 2 rushes) at the feet increase the useful volume.

2 pockets in the chamber.

Architecture, hoops and sardines

This tent-tarp requires 2 trekking poles (ideal height 115cm; max 120cm) to form its structure. These poles are not supplied with the tent

The sardines, made of 7075 T6 aluminum, have a head shape (known as an "anvil") that makes them very resistant.

This architecture makes for a very light tent, but one that needs to be secured to the ground as it cannot be set up on its own.

A few assembly tips

Start by adjusting your poles to a length of 115 cm.

Then plant the sardines in the 4 corners of the tent-tarp.
Now that the flysheet and bedroom are pre-assembled, slide each of the poles under the flysheet, in line with each of the doors. Your tent-tarp is now up and running!

Install the 2 aluminum poles in the slots provided at the foot of the tent.
All that's left to do is secure the poles and adjust the tension (you can adjust the height of the poles).

And for disassembly

This is a very simple operation.
Simply remove the 2 poles that made up the tent's structure, then, once the guy ropes are undone and the pegs removed from the ground, fold the tent, taking into account the width of the cover.

A little tip: leave the 2 pegs in their housing, you'll save time the next time you set it up!

Waterproofing

Forclaz tents are laboratory-tested: tent erected, 200 liters/m²/hour (3 hours, equivalent to tropical rain).

20-denier polyester double-roof (2,000 mm) and 40-denier polyamide ground sheet (3,000 mm) are made of coated polyurethane (inside) and silicone-coated polyurethane (outside).

Seams sealed with heat-bonded strips.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in wind tunnels, in a wind tunnel on a turntable, to expose each side of the tent to the wind.
To guarantee wind resistance, the tent must be properly erected, stretched without excess, with all guy wires properly deployed around the tent. This will ensure that the tent remains habitable even when the wind speed is measured at 70 km/h close to the ground.

Our tents are certified by the independent CSTB laboratory in Nantes.

Ventilation and condensation control

Top ventilation located on each side of the doors.
Upper part of the chamber made of mosquito netting to facilitate air circulation.
Water-repellent fabric around the perimeter of the chamber to protect against condensation and draughts.

To limit condensation inside the tent, it must be correctly pitched, with the canvas stretched without excess and the vents open.

Seasons

3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you may encounter in spring, summer or autumn. It will withstand small snowfalls, but is not designed to withstand heavy loads on the structure.
In the event of snow, remember to shake your tent regularly to remove any accumulated snow from the ground, and to avoid putting too much weight on the tent structure.

Resistance

Your tent is designed for touring bivouacs, not for static, day-long use.
We advise you to avoid leaving your tent in direct sunlight as much as possible, as ultra-light fabrics can be sensitive to UV rays, which can weaken them.
