Polycotton care
As part of the tent is made of cotton, the canvas must be absolutely dry before storing to avoid mildew. It's also important to keep the canvas clean and to remove stains as quickly as possible. It's best to wipe off dust with a soft brush.
DO NOT STORE IN DAMP CONDITIONS.
Advantages of Polycotton or Technical Cotton
Polycotton, also known as Technical Cotton, gives you:
- Better UV resistance,
- Better breathability than a traditional polyester tent,
- A longer lifespan,
- A lighter tent than a 100% cotton tent,
- A more pleasant living environment in terms of noise, for example.
However, you need to be very careful, as Polycotton is a fabric that requires particular attention to drying and stain removal.
Bedroom and living room
9 m² living room with a central tent height of 2.80 m.
This tent is equipped with :
- 1 bedroom 140 x 210 cm and 1 bedroom 210 x 210 cm or a large bedroom 350 x 210 cm with magnetic "Easy&Quiet" doors
- Magnetic "Easy&Quiet" entrance door
- Zipped ground sheet
- 2 transparent windows with shutters
- 2 mosquito-screen windows with shutters
- Storage pockets in the bedrooms and in the living room
- An insulating comfort mat to be installed in the living room
- 2 electrical sockets.
Lying width
Each room in this tent can accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm-wide mattresses in one and three 70 cm-wide mattresses in the other.
The partition between the 2 rooms can be removed to make one large room.

Assembly and disassembly
Tipi structure, installation of 2 aluminium poles (entrance and central) with pre-assembled chambers and double-roof.
We recommend 2 people for assembly.
Possibility of enlarging your living space by connecting a Polycotton tarp to the entrance of your tipi.

Sun protection
Our Polycotton technology is based on a fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection.
Be careful, a lot of UV can pass through a simple open door.
Ventilation
Living room:
Ventilation vents at the top of the living room provide fresh air and limit condensation in your tent. The living room is fitted with six mosquito nets, two on the top of the front door, two on the top sides of the living room and two on the bottom of the living room.
Bedroom:
Inside each bedroom there are two low side ventilation hatches on each side.
The bedrooms are fitted with mosquito nets on the top of the doors.
Highly wind-resistant
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same amount of wind.
With proper assembly and the guy lines deployed, this tent remains inhabitable in a force 8 wind, measured at 70 km/h.
Waterproofing and taped seams
We test our tents to ensure they are waterproof. The first test is carried out in the laboratory for 3 hours under 200 liters of water per hour per m², the equivalent of a tropical rainfall of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out in the field under real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a Polycotton flysheet. It has a 195 g/m² waterproof ground sheet (ground sheet: 5,000 schmerbers).

Repair
As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we care about the lifespan of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at your local Decathlon workshop or at Decathlon.fr.
Arches and posts
Living room masts:
- Aluminum masts at the entrance and center of the living room to stiffen the structure.
Stakes:
- All our stakes are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
- 14 hard ground stakes are included.
Maintenance tips
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks a year) during camping trips or nature outings. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks may damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the "garden furniture" category and are not designed for permanent outdoor use. To ensure the longest possible life for your tent, it should be stored in a dry place when not in use.
