Our team of mountain bivouac experts has designed this 3-season, 3-person trekking tunnel tent with an emphasis on ultra-lightness.

Very quick to assemble, thanks to the chamber already attached to the flybridge. Its interior space is smaller, but it retains 2 doors and 1 large front apse.

Space

Room length 215 cm
Room width 180 cm at head and 140 cm at feet
Room height 95 cm
The large front apse (storage space between the room and the double-roofed roof) is 100 cm deep and 190 cm wide, i.e. almost 2 m², providing ample storage and living space. Sheltered from the elements, it can accommodate 3 backpacks of around 50 to 70 L, and is ideal for storing and organizing your bivouac gear.
3 pockets in the bedroom.

Architecture, hoops and sardines

Light & frost-resistant aluminum hoops: 7001 T6 aluminum Yunan SD70PF Ø 9 mm and Ø 9.5 mm.
Optimized square pegs: "anvil" head, extra-thick body, making them very strong and light (7075 T6 aluminum). Non-anodized for limited environmental impact.

The 2 poles form a non-self-supporting tunnel. This structure makes for a very light tent, but one that needs to be fixed to the ground and cannot be erected on its own.

Assembly / disassembly

Extremely fast assembly and disassembly. The double-roof and chamber are pre-assembled. Simply slide the poles into the sleeve on the fly. Dismantling is just as quick.
To store the tent in its cover, simply fold the tent on itself to about the width of the cover, fold the poles into a bundle and place them on the chamber or fly, then roll up the whole compactly to slip them into the cover.

Waterproofing

Forclaz tents are laboratory-tested: tent erected, 200 liters/m²/hour (3 hours, equivalent to a tropical downpour). They are also field-tested by a panel of users.
20-denier polyester (PES) rainfly and 40D polyamide (PA) ground sheet are made of coated polyurethane (inside) & silicone (outside).
Seams sealed with heat-sealed tape.
Multi-component chamber combining breathability, wind protection and condensation control.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in wind tunnels, in a wind tunnel on a turntable, to expose each side of the tent to the wind.
To guarantee wind resistance, the tent must be properly erected, stretched without excess, with all guy wires properly deployed around the tent. This will ensure that the tent remains habitable even when the wind speed is measured at 70 km/h close to the ground.

Our tents are certified by the independent CSTB laboratory in Nantes.

Ventilation and condensation control

Mosquito netting for ventilation and water-repellent fabric to protect against condensation and draughts. There is ample ventilation at the front of the tent, as well as ventilation at the feet.
To limit condensation inside the tent, it must be correctly pitched, with the canvas stretched taut, but not excessively so. Ventilation and good air circulation limit humidity inside.

Seasons

3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you may encounter in spring, summer or autumn. It will withstand small snowfalls, but is not designed to withstand heavy loads on the structure.
In the event of snow, remember to shake your tent regularly to remove any accumulated snow from the ground, and to avoid putting too much weight on the tent structure.

Repairability and after-sales service

As designers and enthusiasts of our playground, we are concerned about the durability of our products, which is why all our tents are designed to be repairable.
You can find spare parts (poles, chamber, ....) on the shelves or in your store's workshop Decathlon, on decathlon.fr or at support.decathlon.fr
In the event of a problem, don't hesitate to have your tent examined in your store Decathlon.

Repair kit (ferrule, patch): 20 g

Resistance

Your tent is designed for touring bivouacs, not for static use in direct sunlight.
We advise you to avoid leaving your tent in direct sunlight as much as possible, as ultra-light fabrics can be sensitive to UV rays, which can weaken them.

Warranty

5 years.
