SURFERS and TONGS
Flip-flops are the iconic footwear of surfers. Beyond their lifestyle and symbolism of sunny surf spots, they are also the ideal footwear for "before and after session" comfort: simple, practical, easy to care for and, above all, easy to put on and take off, even when your feet are wet, without having to use your hands when they're caught up in the equipment!
DESIGN
At OLAIAN, we design our flip-flops with the needs and constraints of surfers in mind, making them suitable for as many people as possible. Designed by our teams of surfers in Hendaye (France). The OLAIAN global design center is located on the banks of the Bidassoa in Hendaye. This enables us to design products in close contact with users and the marine environment.
USAGE SCENARIO
We've designed these flip-flops for very occasional or seasonal use, for surfers who go to spots with short walking distances (less than 3 km per day), and "easy" access: flat terrain, paved roads.
USAGE TEST
Product tested by our teams, in collaboration with external testers, under real-life conditions.
