SURFERS and TONGS
Flip-flops are the iconic footwear of surfers. As well as being a lifestyle and a symbol of sunny surf spots, they're also the ideal footwear for before and after a session: simple, practical, easy to care for and above all easy to put on and take off, even when wet, without having to use your hands when they're caught up in the equipment.
DESIGN
At OLAIAN, we design our flip-flops with the needs and constraints of surfers in mind, making them suitable for as many people as possible. Designed by our teams of surfers in Hendaye (France). The OLAIAN global design center is located on the banks of the Bidassoa in Hendaye. This enables us to design products in close contact with users and the marine environment.
USAGE SCENARIO
We've designed these flip-flops for intensive use, for surfers who go to spots with difficult access: long distances to cover or intensive daily wear (- 8 km per day), uneven terrain, varied surfaces, even rocks or pebbles.
USAGE TEST
Product tested by our teams, in collaboration with external testers, under real-life conditions.
