Which balls can I put in this triangle?
This triangle will allow you to place your 15 English billiard balls (yellow and red) with a diameter of 50.8 mm.
It is also suitable for the BT 700 UK billiard table and all standard English billiard tables.
Not suitable for
This triangle is not suitable for balls larger than 50.8 mm, such as American billiard balls (57.2 mm). This triangle will be unsuitable for the balls in the BT 700 US billiard table.
We also advise against using this triangle for smaller balls, such as those in the BT 100 billiard table or the BT 500 folding table (44 mm). The triangle will be too large and it will be difficult to place and glue your balls correctly.
How do I place my blackballs? 1/2
English billiards is played with one white ball (cue ball), 7 red balls, 7 yellow balls and 1 black ball (the 8-ball). Here's how to place your balls:
1. Place a red ball at the head of the triangle and another one below it.
2. Add 3 yellow marbles on the diagonal, at the end of the two red marbles already placed.
3. To the right of the diagonal, place two red marbles.
4. Fill in the missing space with a yellow marble.
How do I place my blackballs? 2/2
5. Place a red ball in the left corner of the triangle.
6. Place two yellow balls in contact with the previously placed red ball.
7. Repeat with two red balls
8. Close the line with your last yellow ball.
9. Finalize your triangle by placing your black marble numbered with an eight.
Now all you have to do is make sure your marbles are stuck together, remove the triangle gently and break!
Where to place your triangle on the billiard table?
You must place your triangle so that the black ball is on the intersection of the 2 diagonals formed by the first 4 pockets.
