Are there any special safety instructions for using the C 900 scooter?
As a general rule, you should wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads) when using a scooter.
Most serious accidents occur during the first few months of use, so take the time to learn the basics so you can master speed and braking in all emergency situations and weather conditions. Stop riding if the ground is slippery.
How to fold / unfold the scooter?
Quick folding and unfolding without hands! That's the EASYFOLD concept.
The trick? Simply stand in front of your scooter, with the platform straight ahead, and press the pedal: that's it, your C900 is folded in less time than it took you to read these instructions.
The handles are just as easy. Just press the buttons to fold. And unfold the handles in a single movement!
This makes the C900 an ideal complement to public transport.
Is the Oxelo C900 scooter suitable for long city journeys?
Yes!
A rubber grip on the deck and ultra-comfortable ergonomic handles with a "palm rest" enhance comfort by attenuating road vibrations.
The C900 adult scooter is also equipped with a bell for signaling in town.
Thanks to its compact size and folding system, you can easily take it on public transport and extend your trips!
How well does the Oxelo C900 scooter glide?
We've equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm wheels with 75A "soft PU" rubber for performance and comfort on the move.
A large wheel facilitates relaunching while minimizing effort.
ABEC 7 bearings offer excellent ride quality for improved relaunching and reduced fatigue.
How much does the C900 scooter weigh?
6.8kg that's easy to transport thanks to a "trolley" mode: even when folded, the scooter rolls up like a suitcase.
What is the maximum weight supported by the C900 scooter?
100 kg.
This is what we can claim when we pass the European standard for scooters (EN 14619).
What are the safety rules for using the C900 scooter?
We recommend that you check the condition of your scooter before and after each ride, making sure there's no abnormal play, cracks or sharp edges.
What to do in the event of handlebar play?
Between the unevenness of the road and the accumulation of "shocks" and other vibrations, it's normal for some parts to loosen.
You can have the screws retightened in a DECATHLON workshop, or do it yourself using the Allen wrenches supplied (which are suitable for tightening 100% of the scooter's parts).
How are our products tested?
All our scooters are laboratory-tested. These tests validate not only European standards for scooter use, but also wear tests (for example, a machine will fold a scooter 10,000 times to check the folding system).
These lab tests are complemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perceptions of testers, who then put the product through its paces. The result: a tried and tested product.
How do I maintain my scooter?
Wheels and bearings are parts that wear out. Remember to check them too, and change them if necessary.
Repairing and extending the life of your scooter is possible thanks to the spare parts tracked and ordered by the Workshop in your DECATHLON store.
Warranty
2 years except parts subject to wear (wheels, bearings, grip, handles, brakes).
