Are there any special safety instructions for using the T7XL scooter?
As a general rule, you should wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads) when using a scooter.
Most serious accidents occur during the first few months of use: take the time to learn the basics of scooter use, so you can master speed and braking in all emergency situations and in all weather conditions. Stop using your scooter if the ground is slippery.
How well does the Oxelo T7 XL scooter glide?
This adult scooter is equipped with large 200 mm wheels with "PU high rebound" rubber. A large wheel makes relaunching easier, while minimizing effort. The ABEC 5 bearings provide good ride quality to limit relaunching and fatigue.
How do I maintain my scooter?
Wheels and bearings are parts that wear out. Remember to check them too, and change them if necessary.
Repairing and extending the life of your scooter is possible thanks to the spare parts tracked and ordered by the Workshop in your Décathlon store.
Suspensions for greater comfort
To meet your needs and provide maximum comfort, we've equipped the T7XL with two suspensions: one at the front and one at the rear.
These suspensions will greatly reduce the inconvenience of bad roads or kerb crossings.
Brakes and mudguards: practical for the city
The T7XL scooter fromOxelo is equipped with a handlebar brake and a second brake on the rear wheel. This long, wrap-around mudguard also acts as a foot brake.
How much does the T7XL scooter weigh?
5,6 kg.
What are the safety rules?
We recommend that you check the condition of your scooter before and after each ride, making sure there's no abnormal play, cracks or sharp edges. Bear in mind that wheels and bearings are parts that wear out: remember to check them too, and replace them if necessary.
What to do in the event of handlebar play?
Between the unevenness of the road and the accumulation of "shocks" and other vibrations, it's normal for some parts to loosen.
You can have the screws retightened at a Decathlon workshop, or do it yourself using the supplied Allen wrenches (suitable for tightening 100% of the scooter's parts).
How are our products tested?
All our scooters are laboratory-tested. These tests enable us to validate the European standards for scooter use, as well as wear and tear tests. These lab tests are supplemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perceptions of testers, who then put the product through its paces. The result: a tried and tested product.
