BUTTONS
The part of the tuba that is placed in the mouth.
SILICONE
Silicone is an extremely flexible material. The mouthpiece therefore provides enhanced comfort in the mouth.
VALVE
The valve is located at the base of the snorkel. It facilitates expulsion, as all you have to do is blow gently to empty your snorkel, as most of the water is evacuated through the bottom (unlike a snorkel without a valve, where it is evacuated through the top).
DEFLECTOR
Located at the top of the snorkel, it is curved to protect the upper snorkel entrance. It therefore limits water ingress through the top of the snorkel.
DRY-TOP" SEALING VALVE
A snorkel whose upper end has a valve that closes and prevents water from entering the snorkel. For example, in the case of ripples on the surface, or when the user leans his or her head too far forward to observe the seabed. In these same conditions, with a traditional snorkel, the user could swallow the water. In the event of immersion, remember to blow as you return to the surface to make sure you let the valve go back down.
