Atmospheric pressure and climate influence the behavior of your padel ball. So, the lower the altitude, the slower the ball and, on the contrary, the higher the altitude, the faster the ball.
For this reason, it's advisable to use slower or control balls at higher altitudes and speed balls in sea-level areas.
How can you preserve your padel ball?
It's essential to make good use of them and maintain them properly after each match. Therefore, every time you've finished playing, you should store your balls in the ball collection tube to protect them from external agents, which you can carry in your bag.
Temperature variation can affect ball resistance, influencing pressure. For example, rain will cause the outside of the ball to deteriorate more quickly, causing the hairs to disappear.
How long do your bullets last?
Many factors influence the resistance of a ball: the surface of the court, the climatic factor, the type of player and the type of racket you use.
On the professional circuit, such as the WPT, balls are changed every nine games. In fact, a professional player will put more power on the ball over a shorter period of time, and the ball will lose pressure.
