TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Design

Carrying a large quantity of sports equipment requires a minimum of organization, so we've designed the ESSENTIAL 105 Litres bag with a large number of clever compartments. The main compartment can be split in two to separate shoes from clean gear. Elastic straps keep ironed items securely in place when the bag is upright. We've also created two smaller pockets for your other small items.

Eco-design

Textile dyeing not only requires a lot of water, but also discharges wastewater from the dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, we use only one solution-dyed yarn out of two, thus reducing our consumption and our impact on water. The inside of this bag is a BI-TON fabric (one dyed yarn and one undyed yarn), enabling us to reduce the CO² impact by 8%.

Laboratory tests.

This wheeled bag has undergone consecutive water-repellency tests, carrying and rolling resistance tests (32 Km), and fade tests to verify its ability to retain its shape and color, its impermeability to light rain and its solidity when carried. These tests are carried out regularly by various laboratories, confirming that our quality standards are respected throughout the design chain.

At Kipsta and at Decathlon, we are committed to the durability of our products. As a result, we carry out numerous field tests to validate usage, as well as laboratory tests to guarantee the longevity of our products. These include the Jerk test to validate weight resistance (repeated stresses up to 10,000 cycles), the traction test on fabric, and the rolling test with obstacles to guarantee wheel longevity.
