WHAT IS ELECTRIC ASSISTANCE?
Electric assistance helps you pedal to your destination without breaking a sweat, while maintaining a pleasant pedaling rhythm along the way.
The electric motor will assist you up to 25 km/h.
The motor stops assisting as soon as you stop pedaling.
WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VELOCARGO F900E ENGINE?
BROSE 36 Volt, 250 Watt nominal central motor. It develops a maximum motor torque of 90 Nm. It allows you to carry a load of up to 184 kg with ease.
Torque and motor power are used to assess the ease with which the bike will get through certain difficulties (a climb, for example).
The motor is coupled to a torque sensor which provides electric assistance based on the force exerted on the pedals. This guarantees natural pedaling.
BATTERY

The battery can be charged off the bike or via a charging port in front of the cockpit, bottom left.
The battery is located in a compartment under the 2-seat bench. In this compartment, you have room to store a second battery if necessary, or anything else.

RANGE IN KM
Range: Up to 80 km in Eco mode, up to 65 km in Tour mode, up to 50 km in Turbo mode for a person weighing 80 kg on a relatively flat, unloaded route.
NB: Range varies according to weight carried (your body weight + the weight of objects carried), gradient (uphill), tire pressure, weather conditions and pedal effort.
ASSISTANCE MODES
With this motor, you can choose between 4 assistance modes:
Mode 0 - Off = Disabled.
Mode 1 - Economy = +60% assistance: Extend your range while conserving battery power.
Mode 2 - Tour = +240% assistance: The mode that combines ease of use with reasonable fuel consumption.
Mode 3 - Sport = +410% assistance: Get the full power out of the motor when you're loaded up or when the road rises.
CONTROL SCREEN
The color display on the stem gives you all the information you need in an easy-to-read format.
Operated by a control within easy reach, you can navigate intuitively through the various menus.
Permanent information: time, battery gauge, assistance mode.
Selectable information: cadence, remaining range in km according to mode, distance, % battery, speed.
Multilingual: 7 languages (FR, EN, ES, GR, NL, IT, PT).

ANTIVOL
The bike is fitted with a fixed RINGLOCK frame lock for locking the wheel. The key for the lock is the same as for the battery.
The RINGLOCK can be complemented by the PLUG-in chain 900 to secure your bike to a fixed point (Ref: 8767728).
The GPS allows you to geolocate your bike at any time.

INNOVATIVE RAIN PROTECTION OVER CHILDREN AND RIDER'S HANDS
To protect your children from the elements, we've designed a patented rain cover.
It's permanently available on the bike. Thanks to its sliding system, it can be folded and unfolded in a matter of seconds.
To enhance visibility, it is illuminated at night thanks to its reflective fabric, and is equipped with side supports for SL510 type clip-on lights (ref: 8655159).
A cap extends the rain cover over your hands.
LUGGAGE CARRIER
To increase your load capacity, the bike is equipped with a luggage rack that can carry up to 27 kg, including a baby seat. It can also be used to attach the full range of luggage sold by DECATHLON.
SMART STORAGE
The front of the bike is also equipped with clever features:

Thanks to its height-adjustable stem, you can adjust your riding position to suit your needs and the rider.
Ergonomic handles for a natural grip, with lugs for attaching Decathlon SL510 clip-on bike lights (ref: 8655159).
BRAKES
The bike is equipped with TEKTRO MH535 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and discs measuring 180 mm in diameter and 2.3 mm in thickness. They provide powerful, progressive braking in all weather conditions.

DIRECTION
The steering is operated by a double cable system for added safety. It is responsive, free from play, and provides a large steering angle for greater maneuverability.
The cables are made of double-braided stainless steel.
WHEELS
Double-walled, anodized aluminum rims provide excellent shock resistance and bike performance.

You have 2 options:
- In-store delivery: your bike will be 100% assembled when you come to pick it up. Please note! The bike measures 2m589. You'll either have to leave by bike, or provide your own means of transport.
- Home delivery: your bike will be 95% assembled. Paper and video instructions will be delivered so that you can assemble the rest (windscreen, hoops and rain protection).
