At DECATHLON, we want to communicate reliable and accurate information, which is why we communicate the weight of the flywheel alone, so as not to mislead our customers.
Dual-belt drive ensures smooth pedaling and less resource consumption
On this bike, we've decided to use a double-belt drivetrain (instead of the single belt used on the vast majority of models), which allows us to use less material in the flywheel, while guaranteeing optimum, silent pedaling smoothness. And so, thanks to this transmission, we can use a 1.5 kg flywheel, while reproducing the smoothness of a 3 kg flywheel.
