NEW EDR PROGRAM
EDR for EnDuRance, the EDR range is the new segment dedicated to performance within bikes Van Rysel.
Make no mistake, "endurance" is not antithetical to "speed". That's the challenge our design team has taken up.
The EDR frame is the ideal answer for all competitors looking for a bike that's equally at home in the mountains or on mixed terrain.
The perfect combination of stiffness, lightness and comfort will shatter your old records beyond measure.
EDR FRAME AND FORK
Weighing in at 890 grams (gross in M size), the EDR frame and fork are a cocktail of high-modulus fibers offering excellent bike stiffness, perceptible in the slightest acceleration.
Fork weight: 382 g
The fiber orientation has been calculated to satisfy the most demanding climbers and racers on hilly and high-mountain courses. Meets the requirements of top-level amateur and professional cyclists. Press-fit 86 bottom bracket and Di2-compatible frame.
DEDA ZERO 2 HANDLEBARS AND STEM

Disc brakes
SRAM mm RIVAL disc brakes with 160 front and 140 rear discs. Rival brakes are hydraulic. A break-in period is required, consisting of a series of 20 progressive brake applications at low speed (20 km/h), followed by a second series at 30 km/h. Both brakes need to be broken in, to ensure better adhesion between pad and disc. mm

TRANSMISSION MAINTENANCE
We would like to draw your attention to the importance and necessity of regular maintenance of your transmission, especially if you ride in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads)
Regular maintenance will ensure that your transmission lasts longer.
Regular chain checks are essential with our chain wear indicator,
, which is available on our website.
TRANSMISSION LIFETIME
When buying a bike, you need to take into account the cost of maintenance when choosing a drivetrain.the values given below are averages, given to give you a general idea of what to expect. The average life of a well-maintained chain is 5,000 km, and 10,000 to 12,000 km for a cassette.a poorly maintained chain can jump, which can damage your bike's frame.
BRAKE MAINTENANCE
Hydraulic brakes operate via a closed circuit between your brake lever and your caliper.
The system is sealed by a hose.
Over time, a normal loss of pressure in your hoses will occur, resulting in a loss of braking efficiency. When your brake is too soft, or when you come to a stop on your handlebars, you need to bleed your system. This operation requires special tools and know-how.
WARNING AND ADJUSTMENT
ATTENTION: never apply the brakes without a wheel attached, as the brake pads could jam between them.
If your disc touches, please proceed as follows to realign the wheel and caliper:
- Loosen the wheel axle
- Brake hard and retighten the wheel axle at the same time
- If the disc still touches, you'll need to do the same operation while loosening the caliper
- If the problem persists, go to the store.
Warranty
5 years on frame and 2 years on spare parts
