Your Elops 540 bike is equipped with 7 Shimano NEXUS 7 gears, a reference in terms of smoothness, even at a standstill or on a hill, making shifting much easier.
Gears integrated into the hub require less maintenance, do not rust, do not go out of adjustment, do not hurt and do not get dirty.
Brakes
For efficient, safe braking, we've equipped your bike with front and rear aluminum V-brake calipers.
Handlebars/stem/steering

Result? You're more comfortable when riding, and the handlebars don't tip over when you put the bike on the stand."
A steel seatpost and a comfortable saddle
"The steel seatpost absorbs vibrations more effectively, and the screw-type seat clamp reduces the risk of theft. And the saddle? It's our favorite: after numerous tests, we chose this wide saddle with foam durometers adapted to the pressure points of the buttocks on the saddle.
So why this one? Because it was by far the most comfortable!
Wheels
TheElops 540 is fitted with 28" wheels, with DOUBLE-walled (i.e. sturdy) raw aluminum rims. To protect your rims and avoid punctures, we recommend inflating your tires to between 3.5 and 4.5 bar. And to avoid the risk of theft during your activities in town, the wheel is secured by a nut hub.
Tires
"To ride comfortably in the city, we chose very wide tires (45 mm): the bike is more "rolling" and you can get over small obstacles more easily. Sidewalks, manhole covers, potholes or streetcar tracks won't make you lose your balance!
Skinwall tires are lighter, more comfortable, reinforced and equipped with a reflective strip.
Inner tubes are fitted with auto valves: you can inflate your tires at a service station.

The kickstand is on the rear wheel so it doesn't get in the way when you're pedaling. The luggage rack supports 27 kg (the standard for a baby carrier).
With AXA's automatic hub dynamo lighting (it lights up and adjusts its intensity according to light conditions) front and rear, no more batteries to charge before setting off, and no more rubbing noises from "bottle" dynamos.
Compatibility
"For 360° visibility, you can add VIOO CLIP lights (sold separately) on the handlebar ends.
We've also provided space for a frame lock and a folding lock.
For hands-free riding, your bike is compatible with the entire range of B'TWIN mobility luggage.
