We designed this triple-butted aluminum frame for maximum strength, solidity and comfort. Tested over 500,000 km on every continent and in all weathers. Internal cable routing, 33 inserts on frame and fork to attach all your accessories and luggage racks. Compatible with all luggage racks on the market, removable rear derailleur hanger.
Luggage rack
To carry your belongings, we've developed a unique rear rack of incomparable sturdiness. It attaches to the bike's rear stays with 6 screws, allowing you to carry up to 40 kg of luggage or mount a baby carrier. This unique choice of design also avoids the risk of screws shearing off, which many cyclists suffer from. The front rack, also developed specifically for this purpose, features a top platform.

Handlebars, Headset, Stem: stay in control
We opted for straight handlebars 620 mm wide for sizes S and M and 660 mm for sizes L and XL.
Ergonomic cork grips to prevent sweating and bar-ends to vary riding positions.
Headset with stabilizing stop to prevent the bike from tipping over when resting on the stand.

Saddle: get comfortable
Approved by thousands of travelers, we've entrusted the seat to the legendary Brooks B17 Imperial leather saddle, which will mould itself to your body shape for unique comfort. Adjustable with laces.

Tires
The Riverside Touring 900 is equipped with versatile Schwalbe Marathon tires for road and trail use. The Marathon tires feature a puncture-proof tape with a Schwalbe score of 5/7, and weigh 985 g per tire.

How to choose the right size for your travel bike?
4 sizes available:
Size S from 1.55 m to 1.65 m.
Size M from 1.66 m to 1.77 m.
Size L from 1.78 m to 1.89 m.
Size XL from 1.90 m to 2.01 m.
If you're on the borderline between 2 sizes:
Choose the smaller size for greater manoeuvrability and comfort (more upright back).
Choose the larger size for a more reclined position (more suitable for speed).
Trailer and FollowMe compatibility
If you're using a trailer, you'll need to install a 172 mm extended thru axle (not supplied) on the rear wheel: part no. 8618363. Search for "8618363" in your website's search engine Decathlon
To install a FolllowMe, you'll need to buy the "Adapter nut for follow me kit" part no. 8618362 sold at Decathlon. You'll also need to buy an "M12 rear wheel axle for FollowMe adapter" in size 172mm from an external site at Decathlon.
