TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Frame

Comfort geometry with a higher head tube for a more upright position than a conventional road frame. By lengthening the top tube and reducing the stem length, this GRVL geometry allows the fork to be shifted forward, to avoid the foot rubbing on the front wheel.
6061 T6 aluminum with semi-integrated headset.
Frame weight in M size: 1800gr

Fork

Carbon fork with aluminum steerer tube for lighter, more precise handling.
1"1/8 aheadset steerer tube for greater strength and rigidity in the cockpit.
Fork inserts for luggage racks. Maximum weight on fork: 9kg
Fork weight: 750g

Brakes

PROMAX DSK disc brakes.
DSK 330R "flatmount" front brake
DSK 300R "postmount" rear brake
160mm disc front and rear
Anti-compression liners JAGWIRE KEB-SL to guarantee precision and braking efficiency. They are Kevlar-reinforced and have a specific internal liner for excellent cable sliding
Semi-metallic pads SAV reference: 8562868

Brake honing

A running-in period is necessary. Simply make a series of 20 progressive brake applications at low speed (20 km/h), a second series at 30 km/h. Both brakes need to be run-in.
This ensures better adhesion between pad and disc.

Transmission

Mono 38-11/42 chainring
MICROSHIFT XLE 10-speed lever, precise and robustly designed. Very comfortable ergonomics: the lever is comfortable for all hands.
MICROSHIFT M665 rear derailleurs with "Clutch" system that holds the derailleur in place and prevents chain jump. It can be disengaged for easy wheel removal.

Crankset/cassette

Cassette MICROSHIFT H100 10-speed 11-42

Why choose a Gravel bike and not a road bike with big tires?

A gravel bike isn't just a road bike with fat tires. Even if its DNA is that of a road bike, it has its own gravel bike characteristics.
On our GRVL 120 gravel bike, we've upgraded the frame of our RC120 disc by adjusting the clearance (tire passage) to run with a 700x38 tire. It also has mechanical disc brakes.
On this gravel bike we've fitted our 23c tubeless gravel wheel, and a single-plate drivetrain.
