How to choose your size
3 sizes are available:
Size S from 1.50 m to 1.65 m.
Size M from 1.66 m to 1.77 m.
Size L from 1.78 m to 1.89 m.
If you're on the borderline between 2 sizes:
Take the smaller size for greater comfort (straighter back).
Take the larger size for a more elongated position (more suitable for speed).
If you're over 1.90 m tall, we recommend you try the L size in-store, or go for the XL size of the high-step model.
0, 1, 2 or 3: how do you choose your assistance mode?
Mode 0 - Assistance deactivated.
Mode 1 - Gentle assistance up to 25 Km/h which makes you forget the weight of the bike - range of approx. 100 Kms in normal conditions.
Mode 2 - Moderate assistance up to 25 Km/h - range of approx. 90 Kms in normal conditions.
Mode 3 - "Boost" assistance up to 25 Km/h for more difficult climbs.
Range varies according to weight carried (user + load), gradient and outside temperature.
Engine
The 36-volt, 250-watt brushless rear-wheel motor develops a maximum motor torque of 42 Nm.
By way of example:
In mode 1, the motor amplifies your power by +90%; if I pedal 100W, the motor adds 90W.
In mode 2, the motor amplifies your power by +150%; if I pedal 100W, the motor adds 150W.
In mode 3, the motor amplifies your power by +220%; if I pedal 100W, the motor adds 220W.
Battery
Battery equipped with LG or Samsung 36v 14Ah (500Wh) lithium-ion cells with a clamping system to prevent the battery from vibrating when you ride.
Supplied with two locking keys.

We recommend recharging the battery after each use.
Control screen
LCD display, backlit for better visibility day and night.
Displays: speed, distance travelled and total distance, remaining range and mode.

What is the purpose of the assistance sensor?
The principle is simple and clever: the harder you push on the pedals, the more assistance you get. You control acceleration and speed.
For those in the know, this is the torque sensor integrated into the bottom bracket.
A frame designed for ease of use, lightness and comfort
The RS520E electric mountain bike's unisex frame has been designed by our engineers in 6061 aluminum, a strong, lightweight material.
Its lowered geometry makes it easier to straddle, so this frame provides you with optimum comfort
whether you're a man or a woman.
To allow you to accessorize it as you please, inserts for bottle cages and luggage racks complete the mountain bike's frame.
The removable derailleur hanger can be changed if necessary.

28" double-walled wheels
Go touring with riverside 520 E, equipped with double-walled black aluminum wheels.
For transporting your bike, a quick-release front wheel lock makes it easy to dismount.

Hydraulic disc brakes
Ride safely on any terrain (dry/wet) thanks to TEKTRO TKD hydraulic disc brakes (160 diameter mm front and rear).
Hydraulic braking gives you more precise braking and better lever comfort.

Saddle
Because it's important to have the right seat for the job, our teams have designed an exclusive B'TWIN ERGOFIT TREKKING 500 saddle.
Graduated aluminum seatpost for easy adjustment.
Collar diameter = 35 mm.
Seatpost diameter = 28.6 mm.
Tool-free saddle height adjustment (quick-release).
Lighting
The Riverside 520E features integrated, battery-powered lighting.
The front light is mounted on the fork and the rear light on the underside of the saddle.
The wiring is integrated into the frame and seatpost.
The 20 lux LED light is both powerful and has a wide beam.
The lighting is controlled from the handlebars, on the control screen.
Crankset/Pedals
The Riverside 500 electric is supplied with multi-purpose one-piece plastic pedals with a large bearing surface for better foot support.
