How to choose your VTC size?
4 sizes available:
Size S from 1.50 m to 1.65 m.
Size M from 1.66 m to 1.77 m.
Size L from 1.78 m to 1.89 m.
Size XL from 1.90 m to 2.01 m.
If you're on the borderline between 2 sizes:
Choose the smaller size for greater manoeuvrability and comfort (more upright back).
Choose the larger size for a more reclined position (more suitable for speed).
Aluminum frame. Lifetime warranty.
The frame is made of 6061 aluminum for a lightweight, comfortable bike. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
The comma-shaped top tube makes it more comfortable to stand still when getting out of the saddle.
9-speed transmission
The single-plate transmission makes life easy: you change gears with a single trigger. The gears are staggered to allow you to negotiate small hills.

We've opted for disc brakes for more controllable braking and greater efficiency.
Comfortable, dynamic trekking position
We design our Trekking bikes for a 60° riding position. A good intermediate position between city and sport bikes. This position ensures good comfort, handling and dynamism.
- Semi-upright handlebars. Width: 620mm
- 1"" 1/8th aluminum stem.
- Semi-integrated 1"" 1/8th "ahead set" headset.
- Two aluminum adjustment rings ("spacers"), height 5 mm.

Trekking saddle
Because it's important to have the right seat for the job, our teams have designed an exclusive B'TWIN ERGOFIT SPORT 500 saddle.
- Aluminum seatpost, graduated for easy adjustment.
- Collar diameter = 32 mm.
- Seatpost diameter = 27.2 mm.
- Tool-free saddle height adjustment (quick-release).

Ride with confidence thanks to double-walled wheels offering great strength and durability.

All-purpose road & trail tires
The Riverside 500 is equipped with versatile BTWIN TREKKING road and trail tires to take you anywhere.
The recommended pressure is a minimum of 2 bar and a maximum of 4 bar (details on the tire sidewall).
Dimensions: 700 x 38 (38-622).
Minimum width: 28mm.
Tire compatibility
If you need to equip your bike with wider tires, you can.
Maximum size with Riverside mudguard: 42mm (ETRTO standard 42-622)
Maximum size without mudguard: 47mm (ETRTO standard 47-622)
We've also tested tires of wider widths that are compatible, such as the City 9 (44-622) with mudguard and the schwalbe Evolution TLE (50-622) without mudguard.
As width can vary, not all 44 and 50 tires will be compatible.
Flat pedals
The Riverside 500 comes with multi-purpose pedals featuring a wide support surface for better foot support on the pedal.

Your Riverside 500 comes complete with bell, lights (front/rear), wheel reflectors and pedals.

The Riverside 500 is compatible with:

Sizes M and L compatible with frame-mounted carriers. Size S not compatible.
