WHAT SIZE MOUNTAIN BIKE TO CHOOSE?
Several sizes are available:
M: between 1.65 m and 1.74 m
L: between 1.75 m and 1.84 m
XL: between 1.85 m and 2.00 m
If you're on the borderline between 2 sizes:
Choose the smaller size for better handling (easier to handle) and comfort (straighter back).
Choose the larger size for better pedaling and a more extended position (better performance).
MIXED FRAME
The frame of the ST 540 S is MIXED.
Studied down to the smallest detail, with a very pronounced sloping top tube, over a fairly wide size range (from M:1m65 to XL:2m00), the frame of the ST 540 S is not only light and comfortable, it's also MIXED.
For even greater comfort, the women on the ROCKRIDER team recommend the SPORT FEMME 500 saddle, adapted to women's morphology.
A WORD FROM THE TEAM
Passionate about mountain biking, we designed and developed the ST 540 S mountain bike entirely in France at BTWIN VILLAGE (Lille).
A comfortable and efficient mountain bike: more progressive and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, air shock absorber and 120 mm fork to overcome obstacles with ease, simple and efficient double chainring...
Mountain bikers were involved in every stage of the project to validate this bike.
COMFORTABLE, PLAYFUL SETTING
For greater lightness and efficient pedaling, the frame of the ROCKRIDER ST 540 S mountain bike has been designed in 6061 aluminum (only 2.7 KG in size M, without shock absorber). Its 120 mm rear shock absorber is based on a single-pivot system (more sensitive to small terrain shocks, while remaining firm in the face of large impacts) and sealed bearings, for long life.
120° FRONT SUSPENSION MM
The hydraulic fork, with 120 mm of travel, allows you to negotiate more obstacles (roots, pebbles, stones, mud) with complete peace of mind.
Be precise in your trajectories thanks to the large-diameter plungers (32 mm).
The fork's integrated locking system prevents pumping and loss of speed on rolling sections.
REAR AIR SUSPENSION
This mountain bike is equipped with a 120 E1 X-FUSION air shock mm, lightweight and specifically tuned for its frame. Its Schrader valve makes it easy to adjust according to your weight, ensuring a very good sensitivity/performance ratio.
A specific "high-pressure" pump is required to adjust this shock absorber (Fork and shock absorber pump ROCKRIDER - ref: 3310286).
DERAILLEUR & DOUBLE DRIVETRAIN
2 chainrings with 9 gears, for a range of 18 easy-to-use gears.
The crankset with through axle guarantees excellent rigidity and durability.

HANDLEBARS, STEM, HANDLES
With its adjustable stem, the ST 540 S's controls are a breeze to use. The all-aluminium ROCKRIDER stem, measuring 80 mm (size M / L) and 90 mm (size XL), can be adjusted upwards in 5 stages: + 0 mm, + 7.5 mm, + 15 mm, + 22.5 mm, + 30 mm.

SADDLE
Our teams have imagined and designed an exclusive ROCKRIDER ERGOFIT Evo saddle. Suitable for all pelvic widths, its "hammock"-shaped profile is ideal for sporty rides. With a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm , the ROCKRIDER SPORT aluminum seatpost combines lightness with a wide range of adjustments.
Adjust the height of your saddle quickly and without tools, thanks to the easy-to-use adjustment lever on the saddle clamp.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
No matter what conditions you're riding in (dry/wet), the dual 160 mm hydraulic disc brakes for front and rear are there to help, even in the mud.
Hydraulic braking gives you more power and progressiveness, and much less muscular effort to apply to the levers.
The aluminum brake levers are easy to grip and precise.
27.5" WHEELS WITH DOUBLE-WALL RIMS & TIRES FOR ALL CONDITIONS
The aluminum wheels are efficient and robust, with a 27.5" diameter and double-walled rims. Their diameter is an excellent compromise between comfort and performance. With 28 spokes, they are light, stiff and resistant.
The wide ROCKRIDER ALL CONDITIONS LIGHT (60 TPI) 27.5 "x2.1 tires have sidewall studs for all-terrain use (dry, wet).
23 mm TUBELESS READY rims: SCHRADER valves, TUBELESS rim tape, TUBELESS tires, and puncture-proof fluid to add.
FLAT PEDALS
The ST 540 S comes with flat ROCKRIDER FLAT mountain bike pedals, with a wider support surface and more studs for better support of the foot on the pedal.
TRANSPORT & STORE YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE EASILY
We've added a quick-release system for easy front and rear wheel removal and mounting.
Our tip: a bike rack is a simple way of transporting your mountain bike without dirtying your car.
