Why a 3in1 jacket?
This jacket will accompany your children in all seasons. The waterproof outer jacket is ideal for rainy weather. The removable inner down jacket will keep them warm, even when worn alone in early or late winter. Together, they form a barrier against the elements down to -9°C.
How do you measure thermal comfort?
The thermal resistance test evaluates heat loss between the body and the outside, indicating the insulating efficiency of the product. It is performed on fabric using probes, or on garments using thermal dummies, to measure body heat retention.
What is the waterproofing level?
This jacket is designed with a coated waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) that withstands 5000 mm H20 (Schmerber), the pressure exerted by 5 meters of water column. 100% taped seams make water penetration impossible.
Snow! You shall not pass!
The hood, cuffs and hem of a jacket can be weak points when it comes to letting snow in. Not so with this jacket. The hood is elasticated, the cuffs are adjustable and the hem can be tightened, for maximum insulation from the elements!
How do I care for my 3in1 jacket?
For waterproof jackets, it's best to avoid washing too often, so as not to lose their properties. If it's really very sale, washing at 30° is also advisable, if possible on an outdoor program. The inner jacket, on the other hand, can be machine-washed at 30°.
Do I need to re-waterproof my jacket?
To find out if your jacket is still waterproof, perform the water drop test. To do this, pour water over the garment.
If it beads up, there's no need to re-waterproof.
If it is absorbed, the garment has lost its waterproofing properties and needs to be treated!
