A 3-in-1 concept for every situation
With the "3in1" system, the jacket is ideal in cold conditions (down to -10°C), but also in warm weather, as you can leave the inner layer at home and take only the rain jacket with you.
You can also use the inner down jacket on its own, as a mid-layer, over a tee-shirt.
With just one jacket, you have 3 options!
Waterproof jacket components
The impermeability of a fabric, ensured by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher the number, the more waterproof the fabric.
This jacket is waterproof
The waterproofness of a jacket is not limited to its components: the way the different parts are assembled is also a criterion for evaluation.
Whether thermally bonded or sewn and then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rainfall of varying intensity.
For example, the SH500 3in1 waterproof jacket protects you from a thunderstorm, i.e. 30 cm of rain in 3 hours.
Removable down jacket
The inner down jacket can be removed quickly and easily thanks to a zipper system. It can be worn on its own, and features 2 hand pockets and a secure inside pocket.
Outside jacket pocket system
2 hand pockets. All pockets close with waterproof zips.
Adjustable hood
The hood is adjustable in height and depth with an elastic drawcord. The storm hood is very enveloping and features a preformed visor for maximum protection of the face.
Other settings
The bottom of the jacket adjusts with an elastic drawcord. Sleeve ends adjust with self-gripping bands.
Cutting information
Standard cut. The interior volume allows this jacket to be worn with a technical second layer such as microfleece.
