A CAMOUFLAGE JACKET developed to mimic the vegetation
This hunting jacket features the exclusive SOLOGNAC marsh camouflage pattern, designed to camouflage waterfowl such as ducks, geese and teal. Thanks to its representation of various vegetation (rushes, grasses, reeds), a marked 3D effect, a realistic foreground and a contrasting background between light and dark shades, our jacket will blend in with any type of vegetation at any time of day or dusk.
Yes, this jacket is water-repellent. And we'll even explain what that means
When we say that a garment is water-repellent, we mean that its fabric is waterproof up to a certain point. In other words, our jacket is treated so that water slides off the outer face of the fabric, preventing it from becoming waterlogged. So when you're out on the DPM or at the gabion, or ducking in a light rain, not a drop of water penetrates the jacket. You stay dry and can get on with your hunting.
Windproof and hard-wearing: the other qualities of this jacket for duck hunters
There's nothing worse than rain and gusts of wind whipping around your body as you stand waiting for geese, teal and other waders to pass by. That's one of the reasons why our jacket is windproof. But it's also pleasant to wear and resistant to wild vegetation: for proof, it's made of 210 gr/m² polyester fabric, which means you'll be able to move through reeds and gorse. And even if the wind is blowing at around 30km/h, no problem!
Other features of this jacket
This jacket weighs 680g in size L: you'll be surprised by its weight! It features two outside zipped pockets with flaps, and an inside pocket on the heart side with vertical zip. Its wrists are adjustable by Velcro, and the back is longer for better pelvic protection (designed to prevent cold snaps). There's a carnier at the back, and the inner mesh lining ensures better breathability.
Repair a snag yourself
"Your garment has a tear? How can you repair it?
A tear can happen during your workout.
The good news is that it can be repaired! You can apply an iron-on patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or the fibers from escaping. A patch, scissors, an iron and you're done!"
