Often operating in closed, dense environments, enthusiasts of the beautiful red hair put their clothing to a severe test. So, after carefully mapping the areas most exposed to brambles and thorns, we chose to reinforce the arms, forearms and lower part of the jacket with one of our most resistant components. From now on, crossing a dense curtain of vegetation behind dogs well-versed in the antics and extravagances of the belle des bois just got a whole lot easier.
A breathable, windproof jacket designed to evacuate heat and protect you from the elements
Enthusiasts of the eternal traveler are no strangers to the exercise: walking for long hours, often for dozens of kilometers, to successfully lift a confined bird, is intense. Some sweating is to be expected. A breathable garment that doesn't accumulate heat is therefore a priority. This jacket, designed for woodcock hunters, features 34 cm of side vents under the arms to regulate your temperature during the effort.

When woodcock hunting, the bells tint and you need to be able to follow the galloping dogs in search of fumes. The wild bird is often confined to damp woodland bottoms. If you want to enjoy the sighting, don't be afraid to make your way through the tightly packed oaks, and the drops that fall from the trees often soak everything up. But not to worry! Our jacket is waterproof: rain and damp woods are no longer a problem.
Some important technical data on the waterproofness of this garment
With a waterproof rating of 5000 mm, this jacket designed for woodcock hunters offers a high level of waterproofing. A fabric's resistance to water pressure is measured in mm water column (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. The jacket, pockets and seams pass a 2-hour waterproofing test with 60 liters of water. All in all, it protects the wearer from a downpour equivalent to 12cm of rain in 3 hours.
Washing your carnier is simple.
The dog runs, accelerates and freezes. A woodcock is certainly nearby. So, if it deigns to show itself, and you're lucky enough to get a shot at it, we've thought of integrating a carnier in the back of the jacket, which can be opened and closed on the sides via zippers. What's more, you can easily wash your carnier thanks to the integral horizontal zipper that allows you to open it completely.
This jacket's little extras
Never lose your keys again, just clip them to the carabiner in the front left pocket. You can also clip your dog's training collar to the tab on the jacket's chest. Note: the waterproof hunting jacket's 900 fluo brown reinforcement hood adjusts with a drawcord, so you can hunt without discomfort. It's also easy to remove when it's not raining.
