How do these reinforcements guarantee lasting protection?
Specifically, the reinforcements on this jacket are located on the entire gray/black section. With this model, we've listened to feedback from users who've asked for reinforcements that go all the way up to the pectoral muscles. Yes, these reinforcements are ultra-strong: you have to make almost 1,000 rounds with sandpaper to get a hole in them. So you can walk through dense, thorny vegetation in the woods with less risk of being stung.
Breathability: an important factor in the design of this jacket
Woodcock hunting in particular is synonymous with long hours of walking to succeed in raising this mythical bird. Sweats are to be expected! But thanks to its side ventilation zips, this unique jacket is breathable and wicks away perspiration. How do you do it? By pulling the left and/or right zipper under the armpits, a mesh fabric punctuated with laser-cut mini holes is revealed. This allows air to circulate easily, increasing ventilation during your effort.

The main fabric contains 7% elastane. It's a fiber that can stretch to regain its shape, whatever your activity. The comfort provided by this supple, elastic material is unquestionable. So you can make your way through dense vegetation without fear of tearing, or walk for long hours without feeling the resistance of the jacket on your upper body. This model adapts to your movements.
Carry all your accessories with you thanks to multiple pockets
This jacket has 2 outside pockets, which are zipped (with a locking slider) for added security, and flattened so that vegetation doesn't get through. Each pocket holds 5 rounds of ammunition, so you can carry up to 10 rounds in each. There are also 2 other vertical zipped pockets. Last but not least, a rear game pouch opens with 3 zips to carry game. It also opens from these 3 sides for easy cleaning.
And what about water repellency?
When you go out hunting early in the morning, dew sometimes falls. And these drops of water are absorbed by the fabric if it's not water-repellent or waterproof. When you walk through wet vegetation, you can gradually get a damp chest. On this model, the fabric is fully water-repellent. In concrete terms, this means that water droplets slide off without being absorbed. And that's ideal even if it starts to rain lightly.

The jacket features a central double front zip. Why double? Because being able to open the garment from the top and bottom allows air to circulate even more easily, and also guarantees greater freedom of movement.
