Our Subea design team has created this underwater hunting suit for thermal protection in temperate waters (16°/24°C).

A snug-fitting wetsuit jacket with soft plush neoprene for thermal insulation and easy donning and doffing. Armament pad.

Thermal insulation

Made from 5 mm thick neoprene, this jacket protects you from the cold.

Easy on/off

The inner neoprene is made of plush for easy dressing.

Freedom of movement

The cut is preformed at the arms and all joints are seamless.

Friction resistance

Overlocked ends. Added reinforcements on elbows.

Easy to find

The gray band on the top of the head makes it visible from the surface.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Plush lining

Unlike underwater hunting garments made from raw interior neoprene (also known as split, entrenched or smooth), the plush lining provides extra resistance during the dressing and undressing stages. Plush loops also provide more thermal protection than a conventional textile lining.

Closing

This underwater hunting jacket features a double-clip subcutaneous fastening (beavertail with double frog clip).

Glued and sewn assembly

The neoprene is first glued, then sewn for maximum abrasion resistance. The stitching is specific: the needle used does not go all the way through the neoprene to prevent water infiltration during practice.

Reinforcements

The vest is reinforced at the torso (plexus) to facilitate placement of the crossbow's loading heel.
The elbows are also reinforced.

Combination colors

Once the wetsuit is wet, the colors of the wetsuit darken.
