TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Wadding thermal insulation

Thermal insulation keeps your little skiers at the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. The garment adapts to their body's physical behavior and the external environment. Wedze uses wadding insulation to keep the body warm. This polyester-based synthetic component stores more or less air, depending on the size of the fibers. The thicker the wadding, the more air it contains, and the better the insulation.

Membrane

The membrane is a very thin component applied to the inside of the jacket's outer fabric. Hydrophilic, it blocks external water ingress (snow, rain, etc.) while allowing perspiration produced by the body to escape.

100% taped seams

In addition to the use of waterproof fabric, we've reinforced the waterproofness of this jacket with waterproof seams. Waterproof adhesive strips are affixed to all seams on the inside of the jacket, making it perfectly watertight and guaranteeing total impermeability.

Snow skirt

The snow skirt is a protective system located at the waist. It snaps onto the bottom of the ski jacket. It prevents snow and air from entering during skiing, particularly in the event of a fall.

Package pocket

No need to take out your ski pass! The sleeve is equipped with a ski pass pocket for quick access to the lifts.

Personalization

A label at the top of the lining lets you write the child's name to personalize the product. A useful trick for finding your jacket at ski lessons, daycare or school.

How to keep kids warm on the slopes?

To stay warm and dry, simply apply the 3-layer rule: Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. Layer 2, or insulating layer, to retain heat. Layer 3, or protective layer, to keep out the elements.

STOCK TIPS

Store preferably on a hanger, avoiding folds which could damage the fabric coating. Make sure product is completely dry before storing in a dry, ventilated place.

All Wedze products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow, in the cold, in all the conditions likely to be encountered when skiing. Our design teams, product managers, engineers and model makers make sure that the program for which the product was conceived and developed corresponds perfectly to its use in the field.
