What does this mean in terms of IMPERMEABILITY?
The jacket is waterproof to 10,000 Schmerber thanks to its component, and its 100% taped seams and zips. Shower-tested, the fabric is resistant to 10,000 mm of water pressure after 5 washes.
Our waterproof membrane doesn't like wild vegetation (branches, brambles...), so stay vigilant when you're out in the woods!
To enhance your comfort, this jacket features a low elastic tightening system to limit air intake if you're cold.
And in terms of BREATHABILITY?
Elle est respirante (RET < 6) grâce à sa membrane.
Pour savoir si un tissu est respirant, on mesure sa résistance évaporative RET (test basé sur la norme ISO 11092). Plus la résistance est faible, plus le tissu laisse s'échapper la vapeur d'eau générée par le corps en activité, donc plus il est respirant. Par exemple: RET < 9 = tissu extrêmement respirant / RET <12 = tissu très respirant / RET < 20 = tissu respirant / RET > 20 = tissu peu ou pas respirant.

The jacket has a hood with an elasticated tightening system. It accompanies head movements and prevents the head from turning on its own inside the jacket. A semi-rigid visor prevents water from running down the forehead in heavy rain.

The jacket features a wide storm collar to protect the neck and insulate the runner during long outings in the wilderness or trails in bad weather.
MAINTENANCE tips
Washing: hand-wash in lukewarm water or machine-wash on a short, delicate program (30°), using a small amount of liquid detergent and a low spin cycle. Do not use powder detergent, fabric softener or bleach.
Drying: hang garment out to dry in the open air.
Once completely dry, tumble dry at low temperature on a short, cool/delicate program to restore water repellency.

It's important to adjust and choose your different layers according to the intensity of your activity, the terrain (uphill, flat, downhill) and/or the weather conditions. This will prevent you from getting wet.
