A fleece warm enough for winter?
The inside of your fleece is brushed, a process that retains heat. The principle is simple: inspired by animal fur and feathers, the knitted fabric is capable of trapping air, a natural insulator. As an added bonus, the cuffs limit the ingress of cold air.
Why a breathable fleece?
It's normal to sweat when hiking. What can quickly become unpleasant is the moisture that accumulates under your clothes. To prevent this, we've designed this fleece with a breathable fabric that easily wicks away perspiration.
What is the RET index?
A soft, pleasant yet solid component
The resistance of our products is verified through various tests. We test, for example, that fleeces do not pilling, that colors do not fade, and that repeated washing does not alter the fabric's properties.
A martindale test measures the fabric's resistance to abrasion.
A practical, comfortable fleece
With its light, stretchy fabric, your fleece gives you the freedom of movement you need when hiking on snow. Your personal belongings will be safe in the zipped pockets.
Dressing for snow hiking
To face the cold, follow the 3-layer principle:
1) Technical, breathable underwear.
2) Sweater or fleece for warmth and moisture transfer.
3) Jacket for protection against the elements.
Make sure the whole ensemble is breathable to wick away moisture.
How do I care for this fleece?
Clean your fleece, turned inside out and closed, in the washing machine at 30° on a cycle for synthetics. Do not exceed 1000 rpm when spinning. Avoid tumble-drying to preserve fabric quality.
