What is the cut of this fleece?
Fitted, without being too close to the body, we recommend you wear a technical undergarment under this fleece jacket. You'll be better protected from the cold. It has also been designed to be worn just under our windproof/waterproof jackets.
Take your usual size.
How does the material insulate against the cold?
The purpose of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (called "scraped fleece" when it's made up of loops). This air keeps the body warm thanks to its natural insulating power.
The warmth level of this fleece
This fleece jacket has been designed and validated to be worn in cold weather between 7°C and 10°C without a jacket over it.
How is heat measured?
We carry out 2 types of thermal tests: fleece material and thermal dummy in a thermal chamber.
These tests reproduce the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you may encounter. They enable us to validate our designs and adjust thermal insulation.
Why a breathable fleece?
When hiking, perspiration is inevitable, even in cold weather. To avoid the sauna effect, we've opted for a breathable fabric that wicks away body moisture. A full-length zip allows the jacket to be opened for extra ventilation.
A practical, lightweight jacket
At just 270 g in size M, this jacket won't weigh much in your bag! Made from fine microfleece, it doesn't take up much space either.
You'll also appreciate the 2 zipped pockets for securing your personal belongings.
A hard-wearing fleece jacket?
We ensure the durability of our products through rigorous testing. We check:
- fabric resistance to pilling;
- color resistance to washing;
- fabric resistance to repeated washing;
- fabric resistance to abrasion and rubbing with a Martindale test.
What sizes are available?
This fleece jacket is available in sizes XS to 2 XL.
How do I wash this fleece jacket?
This fleece jacket is machine washable, once turned inside out, at 40°. Remember to close the zips. Preferably choose a synthetic program and do not exceed 1000 rpm for the spin cycle. We do not recommend tumble-drying.
