Polar component: Insulation through air
The purpose of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the scraping of the mesh).
This air keeps the body warm thanks to its insulating power.
Component resistance
We carry out a number of laboratory tests to guarantee optimum resistance: an abrasion and rub resistance test to ensure that fleeces do not pilling, a colorfastness test to check colorfastness and resistance, and an ageing test to certify that repeated washing does not alter the fabric's properties, behavior, thickness or appearance.
WHERE DO OUR FLEECES COME FROM?
Created in our international design center at the foot of Mont Blanc, in France, this fleece is then made by our suppliers in Vietnam and Bangladesh.
These are partners who possess real know-how in the manufacture of our fleeces, and with whom we work closely.
This relationship of trust with our industrial partners enables us to create high-quality technical products.
WORKING CONDITIONS IN OUR PRODUCTION FACILITIES
We guarantee that our suppliers, often located in developing countries where our presence promotes job creation, comply with our code of conduct.
Through audits and on-site teams, we ensure that employees benefit from a quality working environment based on respect and personal fulfillment.
