Fleece component: insulation through air
The fleece component's mission is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the scraping of the mesh).
This air keeps the body warm thanks to its insulating power.
Laboratory-tested, this fleece has a comfort temperature ranging from 10 to 13°C without an additional jacket.
How is heat measured?
This fleece jacket has been subjected to thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climatic chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate mountain conditions, helping us to validate our design choices.
Why breathable fabric?
Sweating on a hike is not surprising - in fact, it's almost unavoidable. So this fleece doesn't turn into a sauna, thanks to its microgrid component that wicks perspiration away from the back.
What is the RET index?
La respirabilité d'un tissu se mesure par sa résistance évaporative RET (norme ISO 11092) : moins elle est élevée, plus le tissu est respirant. Exemples : RET < 9 (très respirant), 9 < RET < 12 (respirant), RET > 20 (peu respirant).

This fleece is available in sizes S to 3 XL.
How do I care for this fleece?
To care for your fleece, put it in the washing machine at 30° on the synthetic cycle, inside out, with pockets closed. Spin at 1000 rpm to avoid damage. Tumble-drying is not recommended to preserve the quality of the fabric.
A proven level of resistance?
We test the resistance of our fleeces to guarantee:
- resistance to abrasion from backpacks and moving arms to delay the onset of pilling;
- seam strength;
- resistance after several washes;
- colorfastness (washing, UV, perspiration).
